About The Event
Come Together Again and join us for a night of Folk, Traditional & Marching band music at the Old Fire Station in Hawkin Street, as we revive and repurpose this historic building.Â
Songs and tunes in a session setting from Richard Laird, Darren Milligan & Tim Cairns.
Built in 1891 it was the first fire station built in Londonderry and the only surviving late 19th Century station in Northern Ireland. It was badly damaged by fire in 2006 and has since been restored. Used as office accommodation in recent years, it will get a new lease of life as the temporary home of New Gate Arts & Culture Centre, while our current premises are renovated.
