Description: Its an ordinary day as people go about their everyday business in1922, in the early months of the new Northern Irish state as the reality of the partition of Ireland sinks in. The arrival in the area of two strangers, though has prompted interest and concern. Why are they here and what do they want?
‘New Beginnings’ is a 25-minute drama looking at some of the issues created as part of partition 100 years ago. The show will be staged by Blue Eagle Productions in ‘the show in your street’ format which was innovated by the company during the Covid pandemic to bring live theatre to our streets.
