Music and Me (6 months to 18 months)

Established in 2021, Music & Me is the latest venture for well known performer & tutor Ruth McPhillips. As a fully qualified singer & musician, Ruth has extensive knowledge & training in working with young people.  Ruth has over 10 years experience in teaching choirs, delivering 1-1 tuition to students of all ages & has delivered numerous workshops with young people (primary, secondary & young adults)

Becoming a mum for the first time during the recent Covid pandemic, Ruth found herself at a loss in terms of limited/no access to baby & toddler music classes and decided to create a similar atmosphere at home with her young daughter as an alternative.   Having developed a full programme of music, movement, rhyme, relaxation & sensory sessions (tried and tested at home!) Ruth found that there was a huge demand for this type of service & has made a business out of her & her young daughter’s passion for music & creativity.
