About The Event
George Paxton Findlay was born in Kilmarnock in 1864. he spent his childhood in Scotland before moving to Londonderry. During his almost 50 years in the city he wrote about many subjects in his 'ain' Scot's tongue. His enthusiasm for local people and places shines through in his poetry.
