About The Event
This summer, New Gate Arts & Culture Centre welcomes Spark Studio, a fun and hands-on creative programme for young people aged 8–14, delivered by Nerve Centre. Across four exciting workshop days, participants will get the chance to explore animation, design, gaming and filmmaking in a friendly, imaginative environment.
From creating stop-motion space adventures and designing their own t-shirts, to building retro-style video games and stepping into movie scenes with green screen technology, each workshop is designed to help young people develop new creative skills while having fun. No previous experience is needed, and all equipment will be provided.
Workshops run from 10am to 3pm each day at New Gate Arts & Culture Centre, with participants asked to bring a packed lunch.
