This interactive art installation will encourage 12-18 year olds to listen to the testimonies of some of those who lived through the troubles and encourage them to create temporary graffiti which acknowledges the importance of respecting others and the need to nurture peace.

About The Event
Bridge by Dorone Paris
Art has the power to create a united, empathetic and considerate community; acting as a bridge between differing perspectives and communities. This interactive art installation will encourage 12-18 year olds to listen to the testimonies of some of those who lived through the troubles and encourage them to create temporary graffiti which acknowledges the importance of respecting others and the need to nurture peace.
The installation will be sited in Kennedy Place (outside New Gate Arts & Culture Centre) and anyone wishing to participate is encouraged to attend between 2pm and 4pm on the following dates: Saturday 31st July 2021 and Sunday 1st August 2021.
BIOGRAPHY
Dr Dorone Paris is an Israeli-born contemporary composer and a professional saxophone player, living & working in Ireland.
